  1. A stairway to the stars
    by The Caretaker

❤️rod❤️ My favorite of the ballroom trilogy, and one of my favorite albums from The Caretaker, I really love the soundscape this album presents, it seems so much more unique than the other 2 from the trilogy. Favorite track: A stairway to the stars.
    ThatGuyFromD12 thumbnail
ThatGuyFromD12 this project gives me an enhanced and deeper appreciation for other caretaker projects Favorite track: We cannot escape the past.
    gorp_ thumbnail
gorp_ Although it isn't my favorite ballroom album, I still have to say that at times it can really take me to a different place with how good and effective the soundscapes are.

  2. An empty bliss beyond this World
    by The Caretaker
    supported by
    grunkoid thumbnail
grunkoid I felt like nothing was real and everything was an illusion created by my own mind using what i was actually seeing in the real world as a reference Favorite track: Moments of sufficient lucidity.
    resource thumbnail
resource I love the style of production on this album. I think the reprises of songs are a great addition to the album as a whole. Favorite track: An empty bliss beyond this World.
    UNCRN JNKI thumbnail
UNCRN JNKI Deceitful Nostalgia: the crackle, ballroom reverb, and worn-out melodies aren't just vintage, but feel like decaying memories, as if the past is replaying itself from inside a damaged archive.

What comes to mind is the photograph from the end of The Shining, the balcony/diner scene from The Carnivale series, and the surreal dance from Carnival of Souls.

I envision a gala evening, Empty Bliss is playing there, forever. The dead applaud, they have but one virtue - Looking Like Each Other...

    Favorite track: Libet's delay.

Slorpanoid What is this Reincarnation and why is it Everywhere? Favorite track: J1 - Evanescent peaceful feeling.
    Sonic4 thumbnail
Sonic4 this album is amazing and if you love EATEOT you should also get it. Its the same thing but in reverse.

I love how it mimicks the caretakers work while still staying original, stage 1 2 and 3 are all amazing, and post awareness stages are ACTUALLY BETTER then the caretaker if you ask me. I really like stage 4 and its haunting weird melodies. Stage 5, well i didnt really listen to it but stage 6 is amazing. Favorite track: R1 - All The Burning Memories.
    Mario López Abril thumbnail
Mario López Abril Magnificent! This is the legacy of The Caretaker. Congratulations, young remembered one. It reminds the best and the lowest parts of someone's life.

My favorite song is the one marked, remembering me a cavalry charge of the XVIII. Charge, my beloved soldiers, for the motherland!! Favorite track: C1 - Hesitation grows sometimes.

    Oh!Juicy骸骨\(°o°;)/ thumbnail
Oh!Juicy骸骨\(°o°;)/ turns out the copy i ripped from a friend long ago had audio defects than were virtually indistinguishable from the ones intentionally placed there by BoC 😅 Favorite track: Aquarius.
    doormat727 thumbnail
doormat727 The nostalgia inundates every corner of the abyss. Nothing compares to the chord progression - so simple yet effective Favorite track: Aquarius.
    Peter thumbnail
Peter This album is a great blend of chill beats, somewhat off-putting creepy moments and moments of pure bliss and beauty. The drums always kick in when they need to. One of those truly amazing records. Favorite track: Olson.
