dillydally-wav This album has picked me up when I was down, learn to live with the awkward and embrace it, seek for more than the goals right ahead of me, and learn that there's more to my worth as a person than meets my eye. Favorite track: Don't Touch My Ladder (feat. Louie Zong).

FDJ (Desert Psychlist) A smattering of The Allman Brothers, a sprinkling of The Marshall Tucker Band, a pinch of The Outlaws all blended together and topped off with a little Bob Seeger like vocal magic dust. This is amazing southern flavoured American rock. Favorite track: Cold Night.
    David Davis thumbnail
David Davis Title track is freaking AMAZING! These guys just keep producing one hit piece of music after another. Someone start playing them on the damn radio already!! oh wait, I am! LOL Seriously. This is one of the hard working bands in the business right now and one of the best Southern Rock bands to come along since the early 80s! Get this album!!! Favorite track: Glory Bound.

My expectations were met and then some! If anyone needs me, don’t - I’m busy listening to Somos Los Straitjackets (again)!
    Original:
I’m unbearably excited for this album! I’ve heard a few tracks, and all were fabulous in different ways. This is what I love and have come to expect from Los Straitjackets: consistency, quality and variety! I’m also looking - or should I say listening - forward to the reworkings of previous releases. These guys always put a fun new spin on old faves! Favorite track: High Wire Act.

Somos is a satisfying return to form for Los Straitjackets. Lovers of instrumental rock will appreciate this recording. The mixture of rock, surf, and tracks that transition from slower to faster makes this a diverse listen without any filler. It’s solid and consistent from start to finish.
