henrikmodular Yutaka kicks off an excellent run. The opening is confident and energetic. Walls of Shibuya has unforgiving breaks layered with acid. Pyphen is the clear centerpiece in my opinion. A masterpiece. Beautiful melody and thoughtful edits. By its midpoint, it is the album's highlight moment. It culminates with Eurofling, closing an album with a satisfying descent into chaos.

The album ranges in style greatly, yet stays coherent and glued together. Truly an album worth listening to cover-to-cover. Favorite track: Pyphen (2025 Remaster).

Laurent Kolam Indah Seriously one of the very best 'contemporary' gamelan works I've heard. The compositions at times pull you very far from the gamelan idiom to create unexpected textures. I like that the instrumentation links all the pieces together, making this album more than a mere collection of pieces.
