    mcpaste thumbnail
mcpaste I don't know why I love this album. Never been a fan of country music but this is some of the best music I've heard in years. This band creates a simple purity without pretense. The composition of the songs is simple and clear, a rare find in the world of over-produced music. Really nice to hear a GENUINE southern twang. Oh, and few toe-tappers for sure. Favorite track: Ice Cold.
    Matt Roth thumbnail
Matt Roth The voice of an angel...with lyrics that are so well written.

zhangtastic This can be funny and earnest. However, the words he sings is just a nice bear hug of comfort.

    Joe Snyder thumbnail
Joe Snyder Such an intimate and soulful record that touches on universal themes. This guy knows how to make an album! Listening to it on a rainy Saturday night and loving it. Thank you Bill! Favorite track: Lonely City.
    recklessbear thumbnail
recklessbear I can't explain why but this feels to me like the most honest Bill Callahan recording I've listened to so far. Also, I love the vibe that the musicians create for each of the songs. It's brilliant playing here.

jef37 The atmosphere of this album reminds me of the essential Kruder & Dorfmeister album K&D sessions, a melodic opus of breakbeat & breaks. Favorite track: Contrails.
