Money
Characters coming from different times, different universes, or different worlds can have access to their money via Aternaville’s bank. It’s part of Aternaville’s magic and mystery that their banks can be accessed through the different times and places.
Going Home
If your character is not from an anime/magical/supernatural fandom and also from the proper year (in this case 2010), your character will be able to contact their home. If they are a witch, wizard, vampire, anime, cartoon, etc, or from the wrong year, they will not be able to get home or get any sort of contact with their family or friends.
Canon Puncturing
Aternaville is generally a canon-puncture-free place. That being said, characters from very mainstream fandoms (Shakespeare, Arthurian lore) are going to be in the minds of everyone. Otherwise, it is on a case-by-case basis. If you want to canon-puncture a character, make certain that the player is okay with this.
The Hotel
Upon a character’s arrival, the Hotel is more than happy to let someone stay there on credit until they are able to find a job and/or place of their own.
Method of Arrival
If your character did not arrive via plane/train/automobile/conventional means, their manner of arrival is entirely up to you. They could pop out of thin air into the middle of the street, shimmer down in a rainbow glitter of sparkles, or walk through a door only to find Aternaville instead of their intended location. It is also possible that your character dies in canon but wakes up here, in Aternaville. They would age as normal and be entirely normal (or as normal as they could be). Be as creative or mundane as you wish.
God-Modding
What is God-modding? God-modding is when you make decisions for another player’s character without their permission. That includes but is not limited to: moving another character, having your character know what the other is thinking, hurting/maiming/killing the other player’s character. If you wish to do any of these things, make sure you have EXPRESS permission of the mun. If you do not, there will be consequences. God-modding is strictly prohibited and while we’re very chill, we do not stand for it.
Userpictures
When characters are speaking to one another in their journals, they can see the main userpicture (or default picture). That way, if they meet, they can recognize people should they wish to.
