Chicana painter Marta Sanchez is inspired by cultural traditions of Mexican and Chicano/a Art and concerned with documenting contemporary social issues as they happen in the present day.

TRANSCENDENTAL TRAIN YARD SERIES

This series of serigraphs is the collaborative works by Marta Sanchez and Chicana Poet Norma E. Cantú. The ten-print suite was printed at Coronado Studio in Austin, Texas and is in the collections of numerous university’s Latino Studies Programs and museums.
