Rings of Power, Ep.3&4

The plot moves very sloooowly.

- Can't they give Galdriel something nicer to wear? Anything that looks like a dress, instead of a shapeless nightgown. I feel embarrassed on her behalf.

- Numenor looks like an island with Mediterranean inspired design.

- Oooh, a library! So pretty.

- I don't know who the scriptwriter(s) is but they did a bad job. It's like someone trying to write purple prose fit for a high fantasy novel and botching it.

- Pharazon looks like a power-hungry villain just from that hairstyle! XD

- So many new characters created for the series. I wonder if it's really necessary. Tolkien lore can't be short of characters to fill roles.

- Morfydd Clark is a good actress but she isn't Galadriel. This character just seems to have Galadriel's name. It would have been fine to create a new female elf and give her another name.

- This show has a serious problem with pacing. Even the soaring music and camera angles can't create emotions for a scene when there is no prior prep-work for it. Every important scene feels bland. The scene of the Queen Regent having an epiphany and changing her mind to go to war had no real feeling or dramatic impact.
