This is why trust in the media is low. This is the environment that got @realDonaldTrump elected in the first place. This doesn't feel like a press that is serving democracy; this feels like a press that is increasing polarization.
@jxpaton@jeffjarvis am I just naive to have thought that american media has ethical standards? It's been a day since @washingtonpost writes actual misinformation with no retraction or acknowledgement.
What's missing from the web is a protocol that can identify and rank negative links to call out inaccuracies and misinformation inside of media. We built @BitpressX to protect, support, and promote the importance of journalism and this is just one example of it working.
And this is just one example, but our @BitpressX algorithm is catching main stream media producing sensationalized click-bait that supports their agenda; what's inconceivable is that they are often not admitting it when caught degrading their journalism to misinformation.
