SALAMANCA – The switch has been flipped, the street lights on Interstate 86 near exits 20 and 21 are shining bright once again and the bill won’t cost a penny to taxpayers.

Aiken House recommended to State Register of Historic Places

ELLICOTTVILLE – The New York State Board for Historic Preservation recently announced the recommendation of the John J. Aiken House, to the State and National Registers. The property is among 25 properties, resources and districts that have been added to the State and National Registers of Historic Places, including the Space Shuttle Enterprise.

Snowmobile trails in danger of closing

Snowmobile trails in the Enchanted Mountains are in danger of closing next year due to riders’ negligence, according to a member of Snow Bounders, a local snowmobiling group.

Snowmaking taking place at Seneca Allegany Casino
