San Francisco Correspondent

Michael Acton covers Apple, Nvidia and the semiconductor space for the Financial Times in San Francisco.
He was the Financial Times Nico Colchester Fellow in 2017, based in the Brussels bureau during the Brexit negotiations. He then worked as a reporter at legal news outlet MLex in Brussels and San Francisco, covering major antitrust cases against Big Tech, as well as mergers and acquisitions.
