How to Import Data from Oracle database to SharePoint Online list

Can anyone give me some concise, understandable steps through which to import data from an Oracle database to a SharePoint Online list? I know that it includes working with BCS and Secure Store but I'm having trouble finding anything that is either up to date or applicable to SPO rather than on-prem.

Thank you in advance.

    Hi Lisa,

    Hi Lisa,

    Thanks for your update.

If you need this to be dynamic, we may try connecting Oracle database to a SQL server first, then import the data in SQL server to SharePoint Online.

    Hi Lisa,

Here are some steps that you can try.

(Since I don't have an Oracle database to let me test, I am not for sure that they must work.)

    1. Import the data from your Oracle database to Excel, for the details you can refer to Connect to an Oracle database (Power Query).
    2. Export this Excel file to a SharePoint Online list. For your reference: Export an Excel table to SharePoint, Create a list based on a spreadsheet.

    Regards,

    Joanne

What about Power BI and connectors? If we are using a connector with Oracle DB to be able to use its data in Power BI, can we use the connector to import/connect to/with a SPO list?

We also need this to be dynamic--not just a copy/paste of current data. We must be able to interact with and update it by refreshing the data from the Oracle DB as well as making an entry that is pushed back to the DB.

Please advise. Maybe someone else has worked with an Oracle DB BCS situation in SPO/O365?
