    This is handy for sore muscles or joints. The awkward spots are covered with this device. Rub it back and forth on the ice or hot setting, then switch if necessary. Rubbing it back and forth on the spot is key. Also useful for finding veins when drawing blood or starting IVs!

    The device make quality is immaculate, nothing to add.

    The performance in cold-hot changing mode is quite good. A 20-minute session with two of each cycles is adequate for most of the treatments. The effect can be observed after a single session. Full battery is running for 6 cold-hot sessions in row.

    The cold is really COLD! I could not sustain level 3 and 2. May be later. The heat is pleasant on level 3 and after one full session leaves positive balance of temperature in the treated area.

    This product is very expensive but very ineffective. The cooling surface is too small and it doesn't get cold enough. It also doesn't contour to your body because it's not malleable. So unless your injury is on a flat part of your body, this won't help much. I'm really disappointed.

    Its a contrast therapy unit, that you can use easily on your limbs. I have a lot of issues with my joints e.g. tennis elbow, and this is the perfect tool for that. I find it more convenient than the classic ice and gel packs.

    Giving 4 stars, because its not easy to position when using it on your back and that's one of the use cases they advertise.

    So much better than the old method using freezers and microwaves: built-in Hot/Cold patterns are magic. I would only suggest that it would be nice if the conduction pad were soft, to wrap around smaller areas (i.e., ankles).

    This device is a great technology concept, unfortunately, the design and construction is not very practical. It’s a very pricey machine unable to deliver functional heating or cooling relief due to its impractical design. There have been a variety of approaches in a variety of price points to delivery heat/cooling relief for injuries and aches and pains, the simplest and cheapest go-to’s (like a frozen bag of peas or microwaved buckwheat bag) are much more practical than this device.

    The big problem is that this a rigid box that can not mould to the shape of your body, particularly when the pain or injury is in an awkward spot like an ankle or shoulder. Further, the box itself is quite small and even when used on a flat surface area of the body, like a back or belly, the cool or heat can only radiate to a small area. The strap is only moderately helpful, depending on the treatment area.

    I wish there was a way to make the technology more functional, but this particular design simply does not work.
