I drink a lot of water, I mean a lot: I recently bought an 18 cup filtering pitcher because I wanted a steady source at home and was tired of being dehydrated on the weekends. I also love insulated metal water bottles because I like going to sleep with a bottle in bed, so I can roll over or wake up and have a nice cool drink.

So, retaining cold and being leak proof is already important, but also important is that the bottle itself is easy to clean, which my previous bottles weren't & were instead growing mold, and I was drinking it.

The insides of the bottle are easy to reach and would be easy to wipe, and I believe it would also be fairly easy to reach a handled sponge into the bottle to clean the rest of it; I've only had it for a day so that remains to be seen.

So far, cold retention is good: I filled it up at about 7am this morning and it's now 730pm; water is slightly cold because I partially refilled it at about 1pm, but I'm sure if you wanted your stuff cold, it'd stay cold.

I walk weird so the loop on the sports cap is nifty and lets me take the bottle with me wherever with minimal hassle. Slept with it in bed last night with some water and it didn't leak; just make sure the cap screws on correctly.

I don't intend to use this for anything but cold water, but the hot drink cap is nifty and *might* be leakproof as well: the center bit screws out which might make cleaning it easy, and if you push the center button while it's screwed in, it looks like it seals on the bottom side, where the liquid would come through inside on the bottle.

So far, I'm pleased, and I don't have to refill it as often.

I love this bottle! Very sturdy, looks nice, and due to the large amount of liquid it holds, it really helps me continue drinking water throughout the day. Not only that, but I'll still have ice after 24 hours. Somewhere around the 36 hour mark, the ice inside will likely be all melted... but the water will STILL be cold, likely for the remainder of that day, though I usually refresh it prior to that time. It's fantastic.

I only use the screw top cap. I don't like or even want the other cap at all, but others may have a different opinion on that. This works so I can have water next to my bed without worrying the cats might knock it on the floor and make a mess!

I have not experienced any leaks. The only time any water has ever come out from the top is when I get ice chips in the grooves of the screw top, and they melt and it looks like a leak. This only happens because I have to hold this at an odd angle in order to fill it with ice. That's is my only complaint and it's an extremely minor one. It's not the fault of the bottle manufacturer -- it's just the way the refrigerator ice maker is on my particular model.

This is a very good water bottle and fully meets my needs. The water stays cold and Ice lasts a very long time. I like the click cap. A very good concept that seals the bottle when not in use and quickly converts to a drinking cap by clicking on the top. The top is easy and comfortable to drink from. I really like the large opening that facilitates loading ice. My prior bottle required me to dispense ice to a tumbler and maneuver the ice from the tumbler into a small open. I can put the ice directly from my freezer ice maker dispenser into this bottle.

I only have two suggestions that would raise from 4 star to 5 star (for me). With the click cap on, there is no handle. The bottle is large diameter and even though I have large hands, it would be nice to have a handle to carry around. The sports cap does have a handle, but I like drinking out of the click cap better. Also, I wish the diameter of the bottom of the unit was smaller so that it could fit in a cup holder. Maybe they can't do this due to stability reasons with the larger diameter upper section or their objective to keep the height small. Thankfully, the very good seal on the click cap allows you to lay down on a car seat with zero leaking.

Overall I like this bottle very much!!

Best water bottle ever. I am a chemo patient and need to drink lots and lots of water. I've bought many bottles. Some insulated and some not. All of them smaller. One of the things I have to be careful of is a straw or drink spout that is part of the handle. It can get dirty. I love the two caps. I use the click cap at home. Nothing to get dirty,I just make a point not to touch it and I don't have to spin it around looking for the drinking spot. I use the screw on cap when I take the bottle with me somewhere, it's a great handle and the cap stays clean. Even though it's so big it fits nicely in my car's cup holder. I can put in 4 or 5 ice cubes in and fill with water. It's still cold 12 hrs later. Sometmes I wake up to ice cubes still in the bottle. I use it for iced tea. No discoloration or after taste like my other bottles. I have not usedit for hot liquids. I can't imagine drinking 30 oz of coffee or hot tea.

Since I wrote this review I lost the flip top cap and would lke to get a replacement. Does anyone know how to contct seller?

I drink 80-100 ounces of water a day, so I'm always on the hunt for a better water bottle and this one is darn near perfect.

Pros:

- Stays super cold or piping hot.

In the morning I put as much ice as it will fit and fill the remaining space with water. Throughout the day I top it off with water and the ice lasts all day. I've left it in my car on 100+ degree days and I'm always delighted when I come back and there's still ice. One time I filled it but forgot it at home and the next morning (24 hours later) there was still plenty of ice left in it.

- Nice wide mouth, easy filling and cleaning.

Can put it right under ice dispensers without worry about ice pinging off onto the floor. I can easily see and reach all parts of the inside for cleaning.

- No sweat. Ever. No heat transfer and no leaks either.

It stays truly and totally dry on the outside. Both lids seal completely. The surface on the outside of the bottle feels room-temperature, you'd never guess that the liquid inside is super chilled or piping hot. I can throw it in my bag without worry that it will leak or sweat on the leather or melt snacks that I have in there.

Cons:

- When using the hot beverage lid, there's no handle.

It makes it awkward to carry and drink from. I have small hands so when I use the hot beverage lid, I have to hold it with both hands to drink from like a small child (lol). The cold beverage lid is perfect because it has a sturdy finger loop.

- It doesn't fit in any cup holder.

The width of the bottle is too wide to fit in any cup holder, or on a normal-sized coaster, or in the bottle pocket on the side of my backpack. But it would be hard to make a 30oz bottle with a bottom that narrow. Small sacrifice for such a great bottle.

I bought the Swig Savvy 30oz bottle replace a glass 32oz bottle that had the time of day intervals on them to remind me to drink water. The only negative with that was it was only good for cold/room temperature water. But if i wanted to drink hot tea, a glass bottle is not great to hold -- probably the most important thing is, a glass bottle will not survive if it's dropped.

Enter the Swig Savvy. Now I don't have to have separate water bottles and if it's dropped (which this accident prone person has been known to do), it won't shatter. It nice to have something that works for both hot or cold, depending on my mood.

Since the the bottle has a large 30oz capacity, rather than be a tall bottle it has more gerth, so if you have smaller hands (I don't), it may be harder to hold it in one hand, but not impossible.

Positives:

Large capacity, works hot for cold beverages, large neck opening for easy cleaning, and two included bottle lids.

Not Sure About:

The push down bottle lid works, but I'm not sure of the long-term viability as in whether the inner mechanics for clicking will get worn out over time. When pushing the button in the lid to open or close it, the difference in the height is not very noticeable. If you were in a rush and didn't carefully check the bottle and put the bottle with the clicking lid on it's side in the seat next to you in your car (since it's too big for normal cup holders), then it could leak.

As long you do the finger test to make sure the clicking lid is closed, this bottle will be a great larger capacity option to take along with you in your car or pack in a bag,

I slide my finger across the button and you an feel the subtle indentation which means it's in the down position so you can drink from the bottle. Click again, and when you run you finger over it, you'll feel the button is slightly higher than in the middle of the cap, that's the closed position.

I like how well it maintains temperature. Otherwise it has 3 flaws that caused me to purchase a replacement for it.

1. It is WAY too big for a cup holder. The pictures make it look like it is a normal sized water or coffee bottle. Due to it's high capacity and significant insulation, I haven't found a cup holder that will accommodate it.

2. It is difficult to tell if the valve is open or closed. I've spilled more coffee with this bottle because of that than any other one I have owned.

3. Most importantly, the cap with the button in the middle is VERY difficult to clean. In fact, it appears that just by unscrewing it, you can clean out the parts. But, inside the cap where the button lies there is an area with several parts that have to be cleaned regularly, and the only sure way is to take it apart. Prying the top off is not very straight forward. In fact, every time I have taken it apart, it came apart when the lever I was applying to it caused it to fly across the room and hit something that dislodged the cap.

I wouldn't recommend this bottle.

Pros:

-30oz is a lot of liquid.

-Looks and feels pretty nice.

-The bonus lid option adds a great deal of value. The screw top was what sold me on this product and it delivers.

-Dishwasher safe is a must, including the lids.

Cons:

-It really is too wide, to the point of preventing me from getting another one. (I'd like to have 3.) It won't fit in standard cup holders. I'd gladly trade a decrease in capacity for cup holder compatibility. It's at the high end of being too large to comfortable hold with one hand.

-I've only had it for a few days but I'm not so sure that I believe it will retain temperature. I've dispensed "office cooler" water which is quite chilled in to this bottle and it seems to be slightly less than room temperature within an hour.

-1 star for the cons. -1 star for the spammy email that seems to accompany most sales on Amazon these days begging for a review which I would ultimately provide regardless.

Dopo lunga ricerca, ho deciso di acquistare questa bottiglia. Il contro è che è pesante ed ingombrante, cosa che però personalmente non mi infastidisce perché la porto solo al lavoro e non in giro.

I pro: molto capiente, mantiene fresco a lungo, non presenta odori di sorta, è resistente (mi è caduta in terra sull'asfalto piena e si è solo leggermente ammaccata, ha un'ottima tenuta. Un plus che mi ha sorpresa: il tappo borraccia, una volta svitato, non ti cade in faccia mentre bevi!

Well made, just what I wanted

Ho acquistato questa borraccia in acciaio inox per smettere di utilizzare le bottiglie di plastica, principalmente per i miei allenamenti.

La borraccia è di ottima fattura, molto resistente, non trasferisce nessun odore o sapore all'acqua, mantiene l'acqua fresca, e ha 2 pratici "tappi": uno con il beccuccio a mo' di borraccia, molto pratico per la palestra, e uno con un pulsante che non ho ancora capito come funziona.

Ottimo acquisto comunque!

Format 900 ml, très pratique pour emmener mon eau fraîche pour la journée au travail.

I’ve been using 30oz beakers constantly for around 7 years. I was buying separate leak proof lids and they’re not durable enough.

I found this and it ticks every box and I don’t even need to buy new lids.

It comes with a flask type lid that has a push button in the centre to open and close. Also comes with a wide sippy spout lid that has a loop to carry it with. Both lids are completely leak proof and very easy to open. I only put tea in it and the spout lid is perfect for that.

The tea stays hot for so long that the milk goes off before the drink is cold so you need to be aware when you make it. I fill it at 9pm and it’s still hot in the morning. My son literally couldn’t believe it when I started taking a drink.

It’s durable I’ve dropped it a few times and there’s no dents. I’ve bought 3 of these now and they come out of the dishwasher like new.

Only downside is the width of it. It’s too wide for standard car cup holders so it gets put in the storage box between the seats. Also the photo posted of the rust on the interior must be a previous model as the inside is smooth now.

I’ve bought 3 red ones I’d love amazon to import some pink ones pretty please so I can have a change. I’m phasing our all my silver and Black 30oz beakers and replacing them with these they’re highly recommended.
