These filters aren't cheap because they are specific to the GT350 Voodoo engine. If you've never seen one of these FL-2069-ST filters, don't be surprised how small it is - it easily fits in the palm of you hand... You'll NEED an oil filter cap wrench adapter (74.2mm 14 Flute) to both remove the old, and install the new, oil filter... Torquing the new spin-on filter to (Ford says) 16-18 ft-lbs is CRITICAL (some say they do 25 ft-lbs) so have a good torque wrench handy.
Note: early 2017 GT350's use the same spin-on filters as the 2015-2016's but Ford transitioned to a filter element cartridge type oil filter on the GT350's in February 2017. In 2019 they changed to yet another element cartridge type oil filter. Ford performance sells a ~$500 element cartridge type filter adapter if you want to go that route.
The GT350 specific FL-2069-ST filter is not at all like the big gold Ford Rotunda R1-A Oil Filter used on the 1966 Shelby GT350, or the ubiquitous orange Fram PH-8A's of 60's vintage found on so many small block 289 Ford V-8 engines...
