This Lenovo laptop is at the top of the laptop game with its lightweight build and many great features: 15.6 FHD Display; Windows 11 Home loaded; crisp, beautiful graphics, and excellent speed and performance. Affordable and aware of sustainability. A pleasure to use.

Really nice laptop. Good keyboard, good screen clarity and brightness, and trackpad is nice and responsive. It seems that Lenovo has throttled the 5500U processor to 15 watts out of the box (even on performance). Youll need to get the AMD APU tuner utility to kick it to the processors full 25 watts, but it works very well. Cooling fan is quiet and does a good job (even under heavy load). Speakers are laptop speakers...they're fine. Overall excellent APU gaming laptop. It can handle most games on medium with respectable framerate. Steamlink is a go-to for me, so not a huge concern. battery life for me is like 7 hours for note taking, about 5 for youtube, and 3to4 for gaming. For the money, excellent purchase.

Needed to replace a ten-year-old Lenovo 15" laptop that finally would not boot. The RAM and total memory of this model were acceptable, and the price was nearly what I paid 10 years ago for a lesser model. I like the Windows 11 and Edge browser. Not so much the advertising by Microsoft to buy additional (and for me unwanted) downloads.) I miss my CD drive. I understand why it was removed, but I'm and older guy and have many photos saved on them, so a small plug in CD player was needed. I also like a hardline ethernet cable, so an ethernet-USB adapter was also needed. The battery is non removable; I guess they all are now at this price range. I do wish there was one more USB 1.0 port, just for my older stuff. All-in-all its a compact useful, very fast unit. If I get 10 years like the last one, I'll be impressed. Before my older one quit I saved all document & photos to a flash drive, and everything transferred easily. Recommended nothing fancy just simple - I like simple.

To start off, I just want to say this as it is crucial to the review. I have only had this computer for a day.

My rating is based on the (description vs product.)

So with that said, I shall begin to go over what I have come to notice and what I really think as an opinion.

When I initially bought this computer, there had been a few options available with 3 different price points.

After the purchase was made, I noticed a description change. It's original description stated it was 12G Ram.

The now current modification of the title and description now shows 8gb Ram.

Also the 3 options are no longer present. I feel in a way ripped off by that fact.

However, upon receiving the product I had noted there was also another discrepancy involving the description.

There is a sticker on this inside of the laptop, posted left side corner below the keyboard.

This sticker labels the computer with a Radeon Graphics Card installed. Only the base form Amd Radeon TM no other indicator of anything else, besides the description. The description specifies a Intel hd 400 which is short for intel hd 4000, just a typo. This appears to be completely wrong.

I do not mind the graphics card installed, however, it is a base form of Radeon, and it is slightly worse than intel hd 4000. Not by a huge margin, but I feel it is not appropriate to list it as something else when it most certainly is not. This is especially the case with the CPU processor itself being able to handle a better Gpu in general. I feel this laptop would function much better with a Vega 6 instead. Even the intel 4000 would be slightly better.

With all that said, I offer this a 2.5 star if I could, however I will stick with a 3 only because its overall design is quite good and it is very sleek. The screen is not the best, as this is a 2008 model laptop with an older screen and an older graphics card, the only thing new in this, would be the Processor itself, being made in 2022.

(Edit)---- I have done some test and resolved alot of the issues previously described, the description still remains a problem, however, I have tested this computer out and found it is actually better that originally stated. I would offer it a 3.5/4 stars possibly. The only issue that remains still is the lack of screen quality. It is rather difficult to see honestly, turning the brightness all the way up is really the only alternative to fix this issue.

Anyways, I have discovered with a few game test using the loggings offered by AMD, this computer actually has a Radeon Vega 7 Processor integrated right into the Processor. This is actually a very good computer on the inside for the most part. That has raised its functionality up by 200% and honestly, if this computer had a better screen, it could be sold for about $450 and be pretty decent of a computer. You could use this for games or just general work for either a job or for contracting. (Office stuff)

The specs of this computer for the price, totally worth it.

The Lenovo IdeaPad laptop was estimated to arrive at 12th February, but actually came on the 11th, that was good, few scratches on it minor stuff, good condition, the laptop that was advertised is not what I got, what I received was way better lol. It was Ryzen 7, 20GB RAM , and 583 GB SSD memory, windows 11 home , Microsoft Office 365.

Its super-fast, batter life is long, running this bad boy for the past 7hours and the battery life is only half, its fully loaded and value for money , I am not making this up I got a really good deal here thank you Sir Job well done !!!

Laptop works well. Started up without issue. Fast, good screen quality. Connected to my wifi without issue and have used it frequently for several months. I would buy again and recommend it highly

I bought this laptop to take online proctored exams as an IT student. On the first 2 boot ups (the first being setup), it worked perfectly fine. On test day, which was the 3rd time I turned on the laptop, the speakers and microphone did not work. Being an IT student, I knew it was a problem with the laptop. God bless my exam proctor - even he was helping me to try and troubleshoot. But it was a problem with the laptop. No problem -right? Call Lenovo, it's brand new and under warranty!

Upon calling Lenovo, I learned that this laptop had been purchased last year in September of 2023 and was being resold on Amazon as "NEW". This means that the 1-year warranty had just expired and I am now screwed :) Yay! Lenovo encouraged me to make my case to Amazon as this seemed unlawful and like a scam.

I made my case to Amazon but the return window closed.... However, a nice agent listened to me and granted me a return extension. I returned my laptop and the next day, asked Amazon how long it would be until I saw a refund. They said it would take over a month, and to call back if I hadn't seen it. I'm hoping I can be refunded.

El equipo es bastante bonito esteticamente, las partes son plasticas, teclado demaciado silencioso y resistente, el procesador es excelente ya que cuenta con 12 hilos de trabajo, excelentes para oficina, escuela incluso para juegos con calidad baja.

Excelente equipo! La verdad por el precio lo vale ya que cuenta con un excelente procesador y almacenamiento, llego en excelentes condiciones y el funcionamiento es bueno para tareas de oficina y escuela, el equipo viene completamente en inglés pero solo agregas la paquetería de idioma español y listo, trae una bahía disponible por si quieres incrementar la memoria ram, trae soldada una de 8GB y yo le puse otra de 8GB y ahora tengo 16 en total.

Por el precio que estas pagando, es muy buen equipo, cero ruidoso, con buena respuesta, incluso e instale LOL y corre de maravilla jugando, con spotify abierto y el discord. Lo recomiendo, pero compren una base con ventilador si es que la usaran por más de 3 horas seguidas

Estaba considerando una reacondicionada y la vi en descuento, al final salió en $5,500 mxn

La pantalla es tirando a mala, pero no se le puede reprochar por el precio.

La segunda vez que la suspendí me marcó pantallazo azul al arrancar, espero se solucione con las actualizaciones de windows.

Ahora el tema es ver qué RAM necesito comprar para subirla a 16gb

Muy buena compra, laptop de nivel medio a precio de entrada. Por lo mismo no se puede uno poner quisquilloso con detalles como la carcasa plástica que se siente algo vulnerable, o la pantalla que tiene un ángulo de visión reducido (no se ve bien desde los lados). Con un Ryzen 5, gráficos Vega integrados, 512 GB de almacenamiento en un M2 de alta velocidad, 8 GB de ram, ajustados pero con un puerto libre para agregar otros 8 GB. El teclado y el sistema operativo vienen en inglés. Pero es algo que se puede arreglar.

Excele compra. Altamente recomendable
