I loved writing with these beautiful, but deceitful, Sharpies! With the lid on the other end, it's the perfect weight. But you only get to use it ONE TIME. Super expensive for one time use.

Why, you ask? .... your lid WILL be lost. Immediately. You think, like normal caps, it will stay securely on the other end. It seems to fit on the specifically molded other end, and to be attached. It won't escape its home away from home on the end molded for its use.

These are LIES.

The cap lid will fly off the end of your pen mid letter, onto the floor of the Snack Shack, aimlessly bounce 17 times like a Tigger with honey in his tummy, and you will search for it and you will feel and see.... things. Things on that floor that will convince you never to come back to this location... What you won't see is the cap lid to your beautiful Sharpie. Ever again.

So for that one brief moment, you had the black pen of your dreams, so write until you can write no more, for these Sharpies are only good for a moment in time, and then they die a quick, death to the dry graveyard of marker death.

The colors aren't the same as the cap on the pen and I just scrapped around 14 hours of work because the little fabric made it so I couldn't write on a small chunk of the page anymore, even with a different pen. And when I wrote on that part of the page it ruined one of the pens. Im not sure what it did to this paper but nothing sticks anymore in that spot so im scrapping the page. And I dont have a color that will match the one that it ruined so I tried tracing over everything with a new one and its not working. It'd be better if I never started with these pens

I bought this package of sharpie fine point pens after having borrowed one from a friend in class. I absolutely love them. The tips are just the right size to write notes in class and while the ink does not necessarily bleed, if you have thin paper you can see the writing through from the other side. However, since this does not bother me I do not worry about it.

The assortment of colors is great if you like to write a certain subject in one color or if you are drawing diagrams like I must in class.

There are 2 black pens and 2 blue pens that come included (every other color just has 1 pen) which is nice since they tend to be the colors one uses most often.

My only advice is if you write with your pen a certain way YOU MUST rotate the pen every so often (Meaning do not write only with the pen on one side) as the ink tip will tend to flatten that way. I used one pen and solely wrote with the tip facing down and it flattened downwards so that I could ONLY use the pen in this manner.

Also KEEP the CAPS on the pens ALWAYS. If you have your pen on your desk and it falls off and it manages to land tip first, the pen will break or split. This is incredibly annoying because when you write you will have two lines instead of a clear one line.

Lastly, DO NOT SHAKE THE PENS. Sometimes when you have a pen that the ink is becoming a bit light you will shake the pen to have some ink come out. Do not do this to these pens! I did this once and blue ink exploded all over my apartment, face and desk. I spent a good 1/2 hour trying to wipe ink stains off the floor, walls, and doors. On the bright side the ink comes off very well with no staining on wall paint, doors, or wood floors. Use a wet rag with water and it cleans up nicely.

If you have really thin paper the ink will slightly show through on the other side. However, with normal printer paper, card stock, and notecards the ink does not bleed through or really even show through.

Other than a few downsides (no pen is perfect) I still would highly recommend them, as they really are nice pens and very handy to keep around and use on a daily basis.

UPDATE - I bought a package in September to use for class notes. Using a few of them daily and others sparingly, just now 3 pens ran out of ink (As I write this it is almost the end of April). The ink in the pens surprisingly lasts a long time and does not wear out/fade until about the last 1-2 weeks of its use.

Haven't tried every flair out there, but these are solid. Good price when on sale, very consistent ink flow, no blotchiness. A little more drag than something like a gel roller, because it's technically a marker, but every single color performs well right out of the box like they're supposed to.

You wouldn't think I'd have to mention a brand new pen working like it's supposed to as a benefit, but there are literally pens out there that don't work even when they're brand freaking new. Every single of these had bright, vivid, consistent color straight out of the box, and I store them on their side, not vertically, so that the ink doesn't pool to one side of the pen.

My penmanship isn't as flowery and nice to look at as some of the examples from the ladies on here, but even with my blocky print that includes a lot of lifting and heavy stroke breaks on and off the paper, they are smooth and controlled.

This can be a good thing if you're someone like me who doesn't write cursive script, because these tend to travel in straighter lines than a roller gel does, helping with the kind of block print writing you see in technical or mechanical drawings.

The pens are quite nice and lightweight. They are a very fine point and do not seem to bleed through paper nor do they smear once you've written something. The colors are quite vibrant.

One thing I was not a bit fan of was the fact that two out of the twelve pens were already drying out when I opened the package. I'll try and demonstrate through a picture. When drawing a quick line with the blue and green I had to apply pressure just to get some ink out. Overall, for around $9 they are alright. I prefer their s gel pens as they write much smoother.

Love these pens - vibrant colors that do bleed through paper. They last a good long while, as well. Bring some whimsy into your life by using colorful pens every day.

These are the best sharpies I have ever used for taking notes. They are very thin and light and don’t bleed through the paper and the ink lasts for a very long time even when I use them regularly and the colors are very nice and makes taking notes more fun. I just bought a larger pack of these with more colors and so excited to use. A little overpriced but worth the money.

I had high hopes for these pens, but unfortunately either the inks are too weak or I suppose they could have been old and partially dried up, but they don't show up well (especially the green).

Only the pen image is given.. Does not show how thick the lines are.. Expected little more thicker. If that image is given, it will be very much useful for people who like to draw..

I was hoping these would do what a regular sharpie marker does, but thinner, but they don't - if you are looking for colourful school book pens, maybe this is the product for you, but I needed markers for flash cards, and these smudge all over them.
