Building a 2nd level to my room
Hey everyone, I've been reading through past posts about how to make those neat stairs that look like a single pillar in your room, and I plan to try it out soon, but I don't know how to actually make the floor for a second level.
In my own room, I was able to make a mini, partial floor by stacking up blocks and then removing the bottom ones, but that wouldn't let me move out of my normal room space.

I want the floor to expand up and outward like that, but I don't understand what to use to accomplish this...
