I'm so excited that 20inspirations is back! I chose this round because I thought it would be really challenging and I had a lot of fun with it. I included explanations so be aware that there are some spoilers, but most of these series have already been out for years, but just as a forewarning.     01. 5 Centimeters Per Second | Word - Reunite. The end scene where Takaki and Akari cross paths. 02. 5 Centimeters Per Second | General. I wanted to show the importance of cherry blossoms to this story, by including one of the beginning scenes where Takaki and Akari are children and the end scene where they cross paths under the cherry blossoms. 03. ARIA | General. This is a slice of life story about 3 girls training to become full-fledged undines in Neo-Venezia. 04. Code Geass | Word - Angst. This series is rife with it. This scene is meant to show a major turning point in the series and the fallouts because of it. 05. Death Note | General.     06. Futurama | General. Text is a bit cliche, but this sitcom is about a regular boy from the year 2000 who 'accidentally' ends up in the year 3000. In the background is a silhouette of New York, the setting of Futurama (or I guess in this case New New York). 07. Futurama | Icon by letsey_x. Leela describes Bender. He even has a meme with a similar theme. 08. Futurama | General. Professor Hubert Farnsworth the absent minded scientist. "Wha?" also is one of his catchphrases. 09. Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne | General. The two sides of her identity as Maron and Phantom Thief Jeanne. 10. Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne | General. I tried to show symbols important to her identity as Phantom Thief Jeanne mainly through the chessboard background and the knight chess piece that she uses in her mission.      11. Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne | General. This series has a lot of religious motifs, so I thought this image was perfect to show that. 12. Sailor Moon | Icon by mm3butterfly. Sailor Pluto is the Solider of Time and Space. 13. Sailor Moon | Word - Death. Sailor Saturn's power relate to death and rebirth. 14. The Simpsons | General. Two of Homer's favourite things: donuts and Duff beer. 15. The Simpsons | General. Maggie Makes Three is probably the saddest episode in the series and offers a really touching view into fatherhood. The end scene really shows that despite Homer being a stupid and lazy oaf, he really does love his family.     16. Vampire Knight | General. I like this picture because we see how soft Zero can be when he's around Yuuki. 17. Vampire Knight | Word - Raw 18. X/1999 | General. I wanted to show that fate of the Earth strongly depends on Kamui, depending on his desire to save it as it currently is or to destroy it to create a pure Earth. 19. X/1999 | General. Duality is a major theme is X. Kamui and Fuuma and destined to fight on opposing sides in the war to determine the fate of the Earth. 20. X/1999 | Word - Passage. Kotori's passage from life to death. I like to think she found peace despite her brutal death. 21-25      |
