#Localization in the UAE and Saudi is no longer a policy conversation. It is shaping the talent landscape at every level. 2025 brought real progress, especially in sectors like banking, retail, hospitality, and professional services. Whether #Emiratization, or #Saudization, localization is evolving, and the challenges are becoming more visible. Some industries still face skill-supply gaps that slow down hiring. Role readiness varies widely among first-time entrants to the workforce. Employers sometimes focus on quotas rather than long-term development.   From what we’ve seen at Meethaq Manpower, the companies with the strongest localization outcomes in 2025 did three things differently.   They focused on training, not just hiring.  They also built clear, structured career paths for national talent.  Finally, they invested in managers, because retention is often a leadership issue, not a talent issue.   As we enter 2026, the next phase of localization will need to focus on depth, not just numbers with deeper skills development, stronger mentorship, more cross-functional exposure and better alignment between education and industry.   Localization succeeds when it is treated as a long-term strategic investment for the individual, for the company, and for the country.     #NationalTalent #FutureOfWork #UAE #KSA #TalentStrategy
