Characters: Kurt/ Blaine, Jeremiah/Blaine, David, Wes.

Author's Notes: Idea suggested by narusasu0531  . All mistakes are mine and I don't own anyone. I'm not sure how to spell 'Jeremiah' so don't pay attention to my bad spelling XD I didn't have the heart to let those poor boys suffer so I made the ending a sappy ending. Leave it to me to make it corny XD

~Falling In Love With The Wrong Person (One Text At A Time)~

Kurt giggled again just as Blaine's phone buzzed in his pocket. Kurt seemed oblivious to it as they reached their usual table at the Lima Bean.

Blaine smiled as he read the text.

'Still comin to parents house, goofus? Just make sure u dont jump on my ma's coffee table. She'll be pissed'

"What are you smiling at?" Kurt asked. Blaine looked up from he phone after he sent a confirmation to Jeremiah that, yes, he will be there later in the day. "Nothing, babe."

Kurt frowned as he watched Blaine exit after their coffeé date.

Kurt wasn't stupid. He knew something was up with Blaine. He just needed to find out what exactly. Which was why he'd invited his boyfriend to dinner the next day.

"Dad, I'm home!" Kurt shouted into the house as he hung his coat up. "In the living room!" Kurt followed the sound of his dad's voice to see his father sprawled on the recliner, watching Finn and Puck shooting zombies or something.

"Hey, dad, I'm bringing my boyfriend over tomorrow. For dinner."

"Alright, dude. He treating you right?" Puck said around a mouthful if salt and vinager chips. Kurt rolled his eyes and resisted the urge to scold him as crumbs fell onto the couch and Puck wiped them onto the carpet. "Mind your business, Puckerman."

Burt smiled. "Sure, kid. You're cooking, right?"

"Oh, can you make that zit thingy you made last week?" Finn added. Kurt rolled his eyes again. "It's baked ziti, Finn. And sure. I wouldn't want Blaine to suffer from food poisoning," Kurt directed at his father, in which he got a throw pillow thrown at him.

"That's expensive, dad!"

Blaine smiled up at the boy he serenaded at GAP.

Jeremiah had forgiven him and (to Blaine's suprise) asked him to help him come out to his parents. Blaine knew it was tough. His own father was still trying to slap the straight into him (not literally), and Blaine had been informed Jeremiah's parents were very Catholic.

The door opened to show Jeremiah's mother. Her hair was curly like his, bit Blaine had a suspicion that Jeremiah looked more like his father. "Welcome! You must be Blaine. Jear Bear's been talking about you a lot."

Blaine blushed and once the woman's back was turned he mouthed, "Jear Bear?". Jeremiah slapped his arm playfully.

Jeremiah introduced his father to Blaine as well, though his father only spared a nod his way. Blaine was pretty sure his dad knew exactly what he was.

"So, what brings you here?" Jeremiah's mother asked. Blaine smiled politely, accepting the cup of coffeé she have him (he really needed to lay off the coffeé). "Jeremy's been feeling a little homesick I guess, and offered to bring me up with him."

Jeremy smiled, then got serious. "Mom, Dad. I really need to talk to you."

<*><*><*><*><*><*><*><*><*><*><*><*>

"You what?!"

Blaine sighed into the phone. "For the last time, Wes, I let Jeremiah stay over at my house because his parents kicked him out."

He could hear disapproval in Wes's voice. "That's no excuse. I'm only looking out for you man. You've been texting this Jeremiah dude in class and Warbler's practice and you're always seeing him. Wait......does Kurt know?"

Blaine bit his lip as he sat on the edge of his bed. He was hoping Wes wouldn't ask that. "Not really......."

"Are you nuts?!" Blaine held the phone away from his ear until Wes's outburst faded. "Look, Kurt doesn't have to know. He'll get the wrong impression."

"This isn't fair to Kurt, Blaine. Just because he left back to McKinley doesn't give you the right to date other dudes behind his back."

Blaine groaned. Why had he called Wes in the first place? "I'm not dating Jeremy!"

"Now he's Jeremy to you?"

Blaine sighed, keeping is thumb over the hang up button in case Wes kept accusing him. He looked over at Jeremiah's sleeping form, cuddled under the blankets. "Look, we are NOT together and you better not tell David about this."

"Yeah. Yeah. Yeah."

<*><*><*><*><*><*><*><*><*><*><*><*>

"Blaine's cheating on Kurt!"

Wes slapped his palms over his mouth. He hadn't meant to burst like that. He'd only gone into the Commons to play some games with David when he shouted that.

"Seriously?"

Wes sighed and sat next to his best friend. "It's just...Blaine says he's not but what cheater admits to cheating? And Kurt is just too fragile. What do I do?"

David shrugged. "Tell Kurt."

In less than five minutes, Kurt was waiting patiently for what his two Warbler friends had to say. "We think Blaine is cheating on you with Jeremiah, Kurt."

It was silent for what seemed like two centuries. "You think? Or you know?"

"Blaine let Jeremiah stay over at his house today." David said. "And he called him 'Jeremy'," Wes added.

Kurt bit his lip as he listened to what they said. He knew something was up, but he never thought it was Blaine cheating...... "He can't be a two-timer. That's just not him!" Kurt knew the words sounded like denial, but iy just wasn't possible. Just last week Blaine had said he loved him! He couldn't have changed his mind so fast, could he?

"We don't know, but we want you to be safe, Kurt. We don't like the idea of seeing you get hurt."

Kurt thanked his friends and hung up, waiting desperatly for the next to day pass by and Blaine would have dinner with him and everything would be normal.

Kurt logged into AIM to see Blaine was the only other person on. He sighed before typing.

Hummeldoll12: U still up for dinner?
BlaineWarbler15: Yea. Why?

Blaine took a deep breath, hoping Wes hadn't told Kurt.

Hummeldoll12: Just makin sure our plans were still on

Kurt wasn't ready to accuse Blaine of cheating. And Blaine wasn't ready to make Kurt think he was.

BlaineWarbler15: Jeremiah's staying ovr my house
Hummeldoll12: Really?

Blaine frowned. He was sure Wes would have announced it to the whole world by now.

BlaineWarbler15: yea his parents flipped when he come out. He had nowhere else to go

Kurt let out a sigh of relief. He knew Blaine wasn't two-timing him.

Hummeldoll12: Does it make me a bad boyfriend if I thought u were cheating wen y brought him to ur house?
BlaineWarbler15: No it makes me the bad one for not telling you rite away
Hummeldoll12: Ur not bad. Just hospitable
BlaineWarbler15: Yea. Guess. Just wish I hadn't worried u (only u wuld say "hospitable" in IM XD)

Kurt blushed even though Blaine couldn't see it.

Hummeldoll12: well I'm not mad ur not bad and I'm makin baked ziti 2morow. See ya then?
BlaineWarbler15: Yea. See ya then. Lurv u babe
Hummeldoll12: so romantic. Love ya 2 bb
BlaineWarbler15: bb?
Hummeldoll12: my version of sayin best boyfriend ever XD
BlaineWarbler15: Lol

Hummeldoll12 has logged out.
BlaineWarbler15 has logged out.

The next day went better than usual.

Kurt didn't stop smiling when the football team grabbed him and threw him into the cafeteria dumpster or when Azimio shoved a cherry red slushie in Kurt's face. He was beyond happy.

Blaine showed up for dinner right on time. He went through the usual overprotective father questions. Burt seemed to approve what he said and it wasn't long until they were eating their baked ziti.

During a long, heated debate between Finn and Blaine about some football team Kurt didn't know, Blaine's phone buzzed in his pocket.

Im bored

Blaine sighed and typed a quick response. "I'm sorry. It's just a friend," he apologized to the Hudmels. His phone buzzed again, twice, three times.

"Just call him, Blaine," Kurt said, staring into his plate of food to not show his irritation. He wasn't stupid. He knew who it was.

Blaine excused himself before leaving to a private area of the house and dialed Jeremiah's number. "'Sup Blaine?"

"I'm on a date with my boyfriend at his parents' house. Not now."

"He doesn't know?"

"No. And he won't know."

"Stop lying to him."

"I can't. I can't hurt him. I'm trying to get over you, and you calling me in the middle of dinner doesn't help."

"Fine. Blaine........just get it over with. Don't keep him hanging on to you any longer. Or he'll get hurt worse than he would now."

Blaine hung up and quickly turned his phone off before joining everyone at the table.

<*><*><*><*><*><*><*><*><*><*><*><*>

Blaine entered the Lima Bean and saw Jeremy waiting for him.

It was a couple weeks after the dinner at Kurt's and they needed to talk about......things before he led Kurt on even more.

"Run away with me."

Blaine recoiled at Jeremy's blunt statement. "Can't. You know, school and stuff?" He swiftly slid into the chair and eyed Jeremy waryly.

"Come on! I have my own apartment now, we could be a team, ya know?"

Blaine shook his head. "No. I want to finish school, to go to New York, to live in penthouses and perform everywhere. I want to be with Kurt."

Jeremy chuckled. "No, you don't. He's just your easy pass to the Big Apple."

"Yeah, but what's admitting it going to do?"

Jeremy leaned forward, his arms crossed in the table. "It's going to stop making you a lier."

Blaine looked away. "I. Can't. Hurt. Him."

Jeremy smiled and moved foreward, pressing his lips to Blaine's. It was the first time they kissed since they started dating and it made Blaine swoon a little. "Too late."

Blaine frowned until it dawned on him, snapping his head to look behind himself. Kurt's face was damp and red, tear tracks falling down his cheeks. He shook his head and left.

Blaine stood to follow him, hoping to be able to explain. "Kurt!"

Kurt froze, but didn't turn around. "I hate you."

"Come on, Kurt. No, you don't."

"It's over, Blaine Anderson."

That was the last time in years Blaine saw the pretty boy.

He stayed with Jeremiah only because he was familiar. But it was a waste. Blaine made it to NY by himself, Jeremy dumping him for leaving.

And after six years of missing the one boy who he loved, he finally saw him and made sure he knew he loved him. On his birthdays. On anniversaries. After intimate nights. On park walks. On a night dancing under the stars. On their wedding day. And on their death bed. Blaine made sure Kurt never got hurt again.

THE END.
