A GEPCO official said that seven XENs were issued notices of warning, 83
SDO's were sent show cause notices and the usual increment/ promotion of eight
SDOs had been stopped.
Meanwhile, Chief Engineer, Customer Service Director MEPCO Khawaja Ghulam Yasin decided two departmental cases and issued orders for awarding punishments to two
SDOs.
The sources further disclosed that Director Engineering Nazir Chughtai and
SDOs Manzoor Ahmad and Munim Saed were also arrested.
'The complaints regarding non-attending phone calls by the
SDOs will never be tolerated.
Briones said that the total number of registered applicants every testing center in all
SDOs shall be submitted to the BEA office of the Directors, through the Education Assessment Division, on or before April 6, 2018 by the designated Division Testing Coordinators (DTC).
