Moscow, Sept.12 (BNA) - Nine people were killed as an Antonov An-28 transport aircraft (NATO reporting name Cash) with 14 people on board crashed in the Russian Far East's Kamchatka Territory, a spokesman for the regional Emergencies Ministry center said on Wednesday.

Blue Wing Airlines Antonov An-28 crashed Friday after aborting a landing at an airstrip near Benzdorp in northern Suriname.

The aircraft, an Antonov An-28 owned by Congolese company Trasept Congo, crashed into a valley as it approached Bukavu's airport.

The wreckage of the Antonov An-28 aircraft and the bodies of the victims were discovered near Ayan.
