His family were approached by Dr Lucy Rackliff, a lecturer at Aston University in transport and logistics and chairman of AIRSO, to run the award.
AIRSO has confirmed that the Sean Morley Memorial AIRSO Award will be sponsored by learning and development company TTC Group for 2016.
A spokesman for
AIRSO, which is a charitable organisation, said: "The Sean Morley Memorial Prize aims to promote research into road safety by attracting talented graduates to the field.
Set up by the charity AIRSO (Association of Industrial Road Safety Officers), the award is aimed at universities across the UK and provides a platform for graduates to showcase their ideas and theories before potential employers and the road safety sector.
Sean's mum Kerry said: "We were extremely proud when Dr Lucy Rackliff asked to run the Sean Morley AIRSO Award back in 2014.
