It is possible that it was unaware of the
ACGIH's reliance on norming, that it arrived at these standards after some other type of analysis, and that the resemblance to norming is mere coincidence.
The 8-h weighted mean concentration of personal dust exposure was calculated and compared to the acceptable concentration of 3 mg/[m.sup.3] for an "unclassifiable non-water soluble or insoluble substance," as defined by the
ACGIH. The results by year and factory from 2004 to 2013 are shown in the Figure 2.
A case of mercury exposure was defined as a urine spot mercury level above the
ACGIH biologic exposure index of 20.0 [micro]g/g creatinine in a facility worker.

ACGIH) published separated threshold values for the organic and inorganic forms of Ni [16].
