I've blasted my way through The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. (And by "blasted" I mean, "finished in under a year") It was very good. I liked the structure and all the detail that's been put into it and I love all the storylines and how distinct the characters are. I liked the plotting and the place, because it's a long book but it moved very quickly for a long book. I do have a problem with the emotional distance that you can sense when you read about some of the more horrible details, but that could have been because of the translation and not the book itself.
Anyway, very good.
