Purpose
Fine Art Photography is the web's version of a travel program, exploring primarily the Pacific Northwest. The most recent trip is through The Columbia River Gorge, a river carrying water from the Rocky Mountains out to the Pacific, through the desert for most of its journey, but finally cutting its way through the Cascade Range.
Most posts describe a road trip to a particular slice of heaven. Photos are included from the journies, along with directions and an interactive map. Occasionally a post will describe a Photoshop technique, or review travel or photo gear; these, also, contain photos, not just of the gear being reviewed, but of the type that gear allows a person to photograph.
