Welcome to Snafu - WGZ Networks' primary server
Snafu was born to fill a void in the services provided by University of Portland's servers. At first, it provided an alternate email service and quota-free web directories. Soon thereafter, thanks to Samba, Snafu began to provide Windows-mountable user directories to Christie Hall residents across the hall's ethernet.
Over the years, Snafu's primary uses have changed dramatically. Since almost all of the people who used Snafu for POP3 originally have moved out of the residence halls, Snafu has evolved into more of a project base for the handful of people who still use it regularly.
