Although VCom (formerly known as WaveCom) started with project work to generate start-up revenue, the current business is almost exclusively the design and manufacturing of VCom brand products.
Below is a brief description of some of VCom's early projects. It was these projects that established VCom as a player in the broadband telecommunications industry.
Projects Completed
900 MHz UHF Bi-Directional Amplifier -- This design project was completed for Andrew Corporation, Richardson, Texas, USA in September 1988 for use in Radiax Communication Systems. This was a proof of concept prototype which incorporated innovative technology originated by VCom.
