Description
Sigrun is a native of Germany. She was born in the former East Germany but spent most of her formative years in West Germany. She acquired a Masters Degree in Psychology/Education from the University of Frankfurt, Germany, and went on to teach elementary as well as middle school levels. She also obtained a Proficiency Degree in Adult Education and taught and counseled at an institution for adult education. Her husband's work with DuPont brought her to New Jersey, Delaware, Puerto Rico, and then Raleigh, NC.
Sigrun started her professional life in the USA about 36 years ago as a German teacher at a private school in Wilmington, Delaware. She then joined a network of specialists for international relocation. Her background, intensive travels, and uprooting moves have given her a good understanding of different cultures, languages, and lifestyles. For ten years she worked successfully in crosscultural lifestyle development, therefore combining her language skills, cultural insights, and real estate expertise in order to relocate foreign business professionals and their families to the USA.
When Sigrun moved to Raleigh in 1990 she decided to add listing and selling of residential real estate to her relocation skills. Her professionalism, competence, and diligence made her a multi-million-dollar sales producer in a very short time. She is also a member of the Managment Assistance Team of Howard Perry and Walston Realtors and earned the Morale Award in 1994. She is a member of the Raleigh/Wake County Board of Realtors as well as the NC Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
