I am presently in the process of launching TelEvolution, a company taking a radically different approach to voice communications. Rather than selling the act of talking as a service, we sell products that enable an existing broadband Internet Protocol (IP) connection to transport phone calls. It's a totally unique perspective - voice is a product you buy, a capability you own, rather than a service you subscribe to.

TelEvolution's patent pending technology called PhoneGnome removes the barriers holding VoIP migration back. With our products, 911 emergency services work. TiVo, home alarm systems, and DSS receivers work. The phone works when the power goes out and when the Internet is down. It doesn't require a computer, there is no software to download or install, and no complicated microphone and speaker adjustments are required. Enjoy free calls, without the hassle. I served at EarthLink, Inc. for 10 years as Vice President Engineering and Chief Technology Officer. At EarthLink, I was responsible for EarthLink's technology infrastructure and research and development efforts. During my tenure at EarthLink, I was instrumental to private placement funding efforts, the company's initial public offering in 1997, a major Sprint investment and strategic partnership, as well as EarthLink's technical growth from a handful of modems and a single server in a tiny Los Angeles office, to a multi-billion dollar company with state-of-the-art data centers in Pasadena and Atlanta.
