TheBackCountry.net is the online extension of our retail store. We carry all the top brands of backcountry gear for Cycling, Backcountry Skiing, Snowshoeing, Climbing, and Backpacking. Our goal is to be your favorite store!
The Tahoe City store is the smaller of our two stores but also is the site of our headquarters for all internet business, shipping & handling, and customer service.
The larger Truckee store was opened in 1997. In addition to backcountry and cycling gear, this is where our climbing department is.
