Description
Having lived in Stayner on and off since 1972, I found that the town was a little behind in getting with the digital age. Not to mention that my parents at the time owned a little Antique store in town, I decided to create this site. The goal was to make a simple online-brochure for tourists to view the town, get to see what a cozy little place it is and want to come to visit. It's grown well beyond anything I could imagine.
Stayner.ca reaches over 45,000 hits per month on average in 2005 and just recently in July of 2005, we managed to acquire 65,000+ hits Of those, 2500+ were from unique IP addresses which means unique people who visit this site. That's 80+ different people per day on average. How many local stores can say that?
On average, this site has received 37,000+ hits From Jan. 05 to early Dec. 05 The average unique IP's were almost 1700 a month. If you were to equate Stayner.ca to a store that was open 6 days a week, you would have 70+ individuals walk into it every day with 1541 people walking by every day. I can say with certain that only several stores in Stayner have that kind of traffic.
