Description

Shuttle Express evolved from San Juan Airlines, a locally owned Northwest company. Shuttle Express began operations in September 1987 when a niche in the ground transportation business was developed: share-ride. The company began with only 13 vans and 65 employees. . The groundwork for the company's continual success was laid in 1989, when San Juan Airlines sold its routes to Alaska Airlines.

Jim Sherrell, President of San Juan Air, then began to concentrate his efforts on building Shuttle Express. Jim established a management team in early 1989 by retaining some key personnel from the airline, as well as promoting from the Shuttle Express ranks. With a great deal of leadership, growth training and a few personnel changes, the Management Team at Shuttle Express was able to establish the company and lead it to profitability within three years.

Since then has come the emergence of a superb town car service in the Puget Sound area— Express Car. First known as "The Best Kept Secret In Town," it quickly became "The Northwest's Best Valued Service" with the hard work and professionalism our great team of drivers and guest support representatives. Throughout its history, Shuttle Express has been the only licensed share-ride operator in the Puget Sound. Shuttle Express has earned an exclusive contract to be the sole provider at SeaTac airport.
