The National Public Safety Planning Advisory Committee (NPSPAC) Region 43 Regional Review Committee was established when the Region 43 NPSPAC Plan was adopted by the Federal Communications Commission in 1991. This Plan provides a framework for the allocation of spectrum in the public safety 800 MHz band. The Region 43 Plan was subsequently revised in 1993, and expected to serve the needs of the region through 2005.
