Description
The history of Pollution Control Products Co. is the history of "burn-off" ovens. The Company was founded in 1971 to build and market pollution-free furnaces for industrial use in removing hydrocarbons from various metal parts.
1974 - Offered the first two-burner Dry Cleaner models incorporating a separate afterburner to further control exhaust emissions and the first top-mounted explosion relief doors which later became required on all burn-off ovens
1978 - Introduced the patented Controlled Pyrolysis furnace using a water spray system to control the rate of smoke emitted in the cleaning process
