- It’s a bit jarring to honest. 3 years ago we crammed ourselves into a tiny apartment in the middle of Little Italy on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Of course in these last few years a good deal has happened. Marriage. Dog. Baby. It’s hard to fight the natural want for something more for your family. We needed more space. I needed to stop commuting one and a half hours to work each way. We need a place that felt like home rather than a place that was our home. We needed to be closer to family to allow them to be a part of our new child’s life, and to help us out when we need it.
