Our goal is to be the FIRST SITE where parents go to LOOK for baby/toddler products and information! Since the launch in January 2001, traffic has grown tremendously and we have received many positive comments from parents who LOVE the site and how it has made their life just a little bit easier by saving them time by helping them find what they need quickly and easily.
MyBabyConnection was created by a stay-at-home Mom that discovered the internet had a wealth of baby informaton and products, but found it was very difficult to keep the sites organized or filter through all the other clutter that search engines bring up. Thus the idea for "MyBabyConnection" was born - a directory of baby-related sites all combined in one easy-to-navigate site! The internet is immense and finding what you want can be a huge task, especially when you don't have a lot of time- as most new parents. Typing in “keywords” such as "baby" can bring up sites that have nothing to do with what you’re looking for or sites that you'd rather not see. Having to filter through all the sites can take a tremendous amount of time!! Parents of small children want to be able to find what they need immediately so they can have more time with their little ones.
Another very important goal for MyBabyConnection, is to help small businesses (many who are work-at-home moms) that have created their own home business by selling baby-related products from their home, such as, personalized baby blankets, homemade baby announcements or candy wrapper announcements to handcrafted and decorated baby furniture. By listing their business in MyBabyConnection.com, they can compete with the big businesses that have large advertising budgets and/or top rankings in search engines.
