The History of Mid-Ohio Suzuki.....
Mid-Ohio Suzuki-Honda-Yamaha-Kawasaki was started in June 1973 by L. Russell Mishey, Juanita Mishey, and Kevin Mishey at the present Harcourt Road location originally as a single line Suzuki dealership. Honda was added in 1979 and staff was increased from six to twelve employees. In 1989 Yamaha became part of our business plan and as sales increased, so did staffing. Additional facility needs arose and the physical plant was expanded to approximately 15,000 square feet. In 1996 Mid-Ohio became a Moto-Guzzi dealer as well as entered into a sales agreement with Arctic Cat to sell ATV's. 1998 brought Kawasaki motorcycles and ATV's into our dealership and an additional building project increased our facility to 21,000 square feet. As of this time we now employ 24 full time staff members and have become one of the largest motorcycle dealerships in central Ohio.
Sales Department
Our people make the difference at Mid-Ohio! All of our staff are riders and will help you select the right ride whether you have just started riding or have years of experience. Today we have 5 full time salespeople to answer all your powersports questions. Steve Leach, who has been with us for 13 years, Jim Stantz,Spence Hoeflich, and Clint Burbridge are our sales associates. Pokey Adams is the sales manager at Mid Ohio. Tom Theime is our sales product specialist.
Parts Department
Our parts staff is second to none! With years of hands-on experience, they will assist you with the right replacement parts and accessories to make the most out of your riding experience! Jim Mayer is the Parts Manager. Jim (photo at right)has been supporting our customers by meeting their parts and accessory needs for over twenty one years. Mike Schumacher, our off road specialist can assist you with all of your motocross and trail riding needs. Our newest parts staff are Chip Brown and Doug Brumfield.
