Malvern Institute
Description
Excerpted from the website:
- Malvern Institute was originally founded as the C. Dudley Saul clinic in 1946, by Doctor C. Nelson Davis and Dr. C. Dudley Saul for the purpose of treating individuals suffering from alcoholism and psychiatric conditions. Dr. Saul restricted his efforts to alcoholism while Dr. Davis was concerned with larger problem of "human behavior". Although Dr. Saul was a key factor in establishing the clinic, his health prevented him from setting foot in the clinic named in his honor. Dr. Davis assumed directorship.
