- About us
- In November 2004 Look and Learn Magazine Ltd (a newly formed company) acquired from IPC Media Ltd the rights to the trade mark 'Look and Learn' and to the educational material in the original magazine Look and Learn (published between 1962 and 1982) and in a number of other magazines that were incorporated, directly or indirectly, into Look and Learn, including: The Children’s Newspaper (1919-65), Treasure (1963-71), The Bible Story (1964), Ranger (1965-66), Speed & Power (1974-75), and World of Knowledge (1980-81), along with rights to material commissioned for two other magazines, Tell Me Why (1968-70) and World of Wonder (1970-75), which were also incorporated into Look and Learn. IPC Media retained the rights to certain comic strips, in particular ‘The Rise and Fall of the Trigan Empire’ (although we have a licence to reprint this in magazine form).
