Description
Founded in 1923, the Junior League of Winston-Salem has been a catalyst in the collaborative development of a wide scope of Winston-Salem’s community organizations and events. Addressing issues ranging from education to health and human services, from early childhood, adolescence and parenting to arts and instruction, the JLWS has played a vital role in establishing or aiding community based solutions.
31% of our actives have been in the League for 3-5 years, while 19% have been in for 6-9 years, and 9% have been in for over 10 years.
22% of our actives and 59% of our provisionals are in the 21-30 age group, 59% of our actives and 38% of our provisionals are in the 31-40 age group. Meanwhile, 17% of our actives are in the 41-50 age group.
