Folie Douce was established in 1991 and quickly became a local favorite due to its emphasis on good food, good wine and good fun. Owners Peter Jones & Marsha Lenz use fresh ingredients from local farmers (including all organic produce) and vendors to create new entrées every evening.

The menu also changes with the seasons as different produce becomes available The unique fare is complemented by an award-winning but reasonably-priced wine list. Folie Douce's intimate setting is ablaze with color and adorned with paintings by local artists. Diners pass the wood-burning oven as they enter the cozy bistro.

The restaurant features freshly baked focaccia, appetizers such as Japanese grilled oysters, entrées that include wood-fired oven pizza, wasabi steak and seasonal fish as well as house-made desserts.
