Since his first goose hunt at age nine, Jonathan has developed a passion and knowledge of hunting waterfowl unlike any other. In his travels he has hunted waterfowl in eleven states and two Canadien provinces. He has consistently hunted fifty plus days a year from September to March in almost all of the last ten seasons. First hired as a proffesional guide in 1996, Jonathan has since created a unique hunting experience. Focusing on mobility to go to where the birds are, yet being accommodating to the traveling hunter. Traveling thousands of miles a month in the fall ensure quality hunting.
I have been hunting ducks and geese all over the central flyway for the past 26 years. I grew up hunting ducks and geese in western Minnesota pot holes and grain fields. Now I hunt a half a dozen states in the midwest searching for the massive concentrations of birds to ensure quality hunting. There will be no excuses like the birds are just not here yet. If I take you hunting somewhere, it is for a reason. It is because I have been led there through a network of biologists, pilots, farmers, and conservation officers that confirm for me bird populations. In this day and age to have good waterfowling you have to be mobile. My entire operation is always on the move traveling thousands of miles a month to find the birds.
The spring snow goose craze has got everybody interested in those big white clouds of birds. My family has been killing snows over decoys for three generations. My snow goose hunts are very well put together and we shoot birds almost every day. I will be in the field for a 45 - 60 day run, hunting 4-5 days a week and the rest of the time scouting fields, making phone calls, and maintaining the spread. I work hard to put hunters on a hunt they will remember for a life time.
