EOEF and TEPThe EOEF has been funded for two years by the European Commission under the second Transnational Exchange Programme (TEP), which is designed to promote co-operation and mutual learning on policies and programmes to combat social exclusion.The project aims to promote a co-ordinated inter agency approach to tackling the employment needs of offenders, who have a very high rate of exclusion from the labour market. Over the next two years there will be a series of small seminars to discuss issues and approaches.EOEF and EQUALThe EOEF, through the Centre for Economic and Social Inclusion, has been funded to run an Equal project aiming to assist the dissemination and mainstreaming process of the overall Equal programme. Support will include development of a European level forum event on ex-offenders to showcase the work of Equal in all member states, and delivery of training to Equal DPs on the practical marketing of policy and practice innovations.
