My name is Ben and I am 30 years old and currently a member of Baptist Chapel Church . I have been creating or designing websites for about 4 years now more or less as a hobby. Most of these sites have been for personaly use. Some were created during the one year I ran a hosting business specificly for customers. In the process of all of this I discovered Joomla! about one and a half years ago and have used it ever since.
I tell you all of that to tell you this. I have been searching for some time now what my calling is. I came to discover that God has given me certain talents, however limited they may be, to provide a ministry to help those in need. There are millions and millions of people that surf the web everyday, most of the time looking at all the wrong things. Sometimes they are searching for help or answers and if I can provide a church or an organization with the means to deliver those answers to these people, then I have done what I have been called to do.
My goal is to provide these different types of organizations not only a website, but I plan to help the most internet illiterate to be able to find a host, a name for their website to best represent their church and the ability to add and update the content they want to share not only locally with their members and community but with all the world to see. I plan to use the power and simplicity of Joomla! and the talents God has given me to do just that.
