The My Ngoc Hotel Restaurant began operating in February 1996 as a hotel and tour agency, offering trekking tours through Cat Ba National Park [the Archipelago Biosphere Reserve] and tours through the Halong Bay UNESCO World Heritage Site. In 2006, the My Ngoc Hotel Restaurant expanded to includ the MY NGOC GROUP under the management of Nguyen Minh Tuan.
