- Together with business associates, agency and government representatives it was agreed that a void existed in the region for a timely, concise delivery method for information about BRAC (Base Realignment And Closure) and its impact on small and mid-sized companies, government agencies and the residential community. Many ideas were discussed and several exciting initiatives were talked about. There were some challenges in identifying the method of delivery, a name, and the resources needed to make what was to become the innovative BRACWatch.com newsletter possible. In order to offer some of the more exciting and innovative delivery technologies available and make future functionalities a reality, it was determined that a website would be needed to support the newsletter. The supporting website carries the same BRACWatch.com name.
