- The Spanish Association of Furniture Manufacturers and Exporters, ANIEME, was founded in 1977 with the aim of defending the interests of businesses in the Spanish furniture sector and contributing to promoting their presence at international trade fairs.
- In 1988 the Ministry of Economy recognised ANIEME as the sole collaborating organisation with the Public Administration with regard to the furniture sector.
- Since then, the diligence and professionalism with which the Association has undertaken its activities have led to a progressive increase in the number of Spanish companies in the sector that belong to it. At present, ANIEME represents more than 800 companies who have placed their trust in the Association when it comes to initiating or consolidating their presence on international markets.
