First off, it's a big battery. It's heavy and bulky. Can you carry it around? Sure. It's a bit large but fits in a pocket or hoodie pocket just fine. Definitely wouldn't be comfortable lugging it around for a hike but fits in a backpack fine as well.

People saying "not convenient for hiking" yeah? No duh, why would you bring this hiking. Firstly, you're hiking, you probably don't have internet to begin with, so your battery shouldn't be dying that fast anyway, and second, why would you NEED a capacity this high for hiking, bring a smaller more convenient battery pack. Keep it in your backpack. Don't complain about the size when it's quite obvious it's going to be large and bulky. Durr.

For my opinion. It's a good battery, it hold a humongous charge that lasts days. I see this as being perfect for road trips where you don't have to worry about holding it, just sit it in a cup holder or something and let it charge.

No duh it takes a long time to re-charge it's 38k mAh. BUT it's not even that long. I saw reviews of people saying it takes FOREVER but never gave an actual time of charging. I charged it from dead and it took maybe 3-4 hours. Which is REASONABLE for 38 THOUSAND mAh!!!! Obviously it's going to take long to charge.

[EDIT]: the product is not advertised to fast charge, but you can get it to fast charge by using a higher capacity wire. The wire provided with the pack will not fast charge due to its limitations but you can buy a higher capacity charging wire for a few bucks here on Amazon. After using the new wire for a few days it fast charges just like the original plug that came with my phone. So I recommend buying a fast charging wire if you don't want to wait 8hrs to charge your phone.

TL;DR It's big and bulky and not comfortable to lug around in a pocket, but it holds charge for days with multiple uses, it takes a bit to re-charge but it's a large capacity so be patient. It does the job and charges the phone in reasonable amount of time. It isn't advertised as a fast charging device, but for the price compared to other brands it's good at what it does. And what it does is charge your device.

It’s slightly smaller in length and width than my iPhone 15 Pro Max in an Otterbox Defender case, and just over twice as thick. My unscientific analysis (picking them up with my hands) has this power bank weighing in about twice as heavy as the phone.

… Yeah, not something you’ll be carrying around in your jeans pocket for sure, but it’ll be absolutely great to fit into a backpack. I tried it in my he-man style fanny pack and with this battery, phone, wallet, and a couple of other things in there the side pack does get a wee bit heavy.

Oh, uh, the instructions were written by an individual who doesn’t use English as a first language, so read carefully. The only thing I really had to figure out for myself is that you click the side button twice to turn it off … I think. 😁

I first charged it to 100% as recommended. Out of the box my unit was at 41%. It DOES charge slowly, but I like to use lower-wattage (5w?) older Apple charging bricks to lessen the long term ‘stress’ on all my batteries during charging cycles. Anyway, it took about four or five hours to get to 100%, but, well, I wasn't watching it that closely …

The test - the next morning I checked and it was at 100%, so I plugged in my iPhone 15 PMx using the included USB-A to USB-C cable (it’s quite short). My phone was at 42% and I watched the charging progress — and I was actively using my phone while it was charging and/or I was listening to music on the phone.

My very unscientific results has the phone charging about 3-4% for every 1% of the drain on the power bank. So that’s, what, about three full phone charges to one full power bank charge? And this is with a brand new unit. I’d plan on two full phone charges per 100% power bank charge to be safe.

Slim and light she ain’t, but this thing is designed to be a strong and reliable backup source and I think it’s perfect for that. If I were to go camping for a few days in the bush I’d definitely take along a few of these things. Great price, too! What’s not to love?

Product works exactly as designed and does what it says. Works great but buyer beware of what this product is. Tldr; its a big battery portable charger but it wont fast charge your devices or recharge itself quickly.

Firstly do i like this product, yes. Would i buy it again, yes. My rating: 4.5 stars. I personally like its features of being a slower charger and multiple usb a ports. But pls know this device wont be for everyone.

Most ppl want a reliable charger that will charge devices quick and be recharged quick. And be light small and portable. This is none of that. I actually use it at home instead of plugging my phone or devices into a wall plug.

I personally slow charge my devices to preserve the battery as much as i can. I also dont want to overcharge my devices as much as i can. With this product, i can let my phones charge the whole over night while i sleep. This thing wont fully charge my device in 1-1.5 hrs and thats what i want. Because i dont want the phone to hit max battery early, but stay charging even if its at 100 for like 3+ hrs.

Now does all this extra work and slow charging really matter, probably not. But it makes me feel comfortable with my devices and thats all i care about. Also if the phone has a limit charge (pixels have a hard limit at 80% and iphones and samsung can choose a number), this charger will let the phone hit that number, then turn off after. Meaning no over charging. So for me thats what im looking for in a charger, so it checks my boxes.

If this charger would also turn itself off when it hits 100% from being recharged—thatd make it a 5 star product. But im not mad at this product. Idk if i could ever use more than one of these, but if i ever needed another one or replace my current one. I wouldnt hesitate to buy this again.

But again just know what this device does and know what youre looking for. Odds are you arent like me and so this charger is not the one youre looking for 😂

My review of this power pack.

I ordered this power pack on April 24th and it arrived on April 26th.

In the package, it comes with the power pack and charging cable only. The cable is a USB-A on one end and a micro USB on the other and is a whopping 12” long. The power pack has two power input ports, a USB-C and a Micro USB. It also has four power output ports, sadly all of them are USB-A so no USB-C output ports. It does not come with a wall charger, but I have a 20W USB-C wall charger and a six foot USB-C to USB-C cable which combined, works quite nicely.

I purchased this power pack primarily to power my Go Pro camera while I’m recording my motorcycle rides. I was tired of the camera dying on me in the middle of a ride.

Right out of the box the power level was 15%, so the first order of business was to charge it up. So I plugged it into a USB-C 20W wall charger. This was around 5:00 p.m.

By bed time the power pack had only reached 52%. When I got up the following morning at around 5:30 a.m. it was showing 100% so I’m guessing it took about 12 hours to go from 15 % to 100%. Now it was time to see if it would perform the way I wanted it to.

My camera was sitting at 99% when I turned it on. I connected the power pack to one of the charging ports on my camera and pressed the record button. I just wanted to see how it would perform during normal recording use. I started the timer on my cell phone and after 3 minutes I checked the power pack and camera.

The power pack was still displaying a 100% charge and the camera was still showing a 99% charge. So far so good. Next I disconnected the power pack from the camera and continued recording. After another 3 minutes I again checked both power pack and camera. My camera had dropped from 99% to 95% and the power pack had turned itself off. Pressing the power packs power button showed it was still sitting at 100%.

Next I want to take a motorcycle ride to confirm how this power pack will function in real world use however the weather is currently not cooperating. I will continue my testing and this review in a few days. Pending……

On April 29th, I took this for a test ride on my motorcycle and it worked perfectly. I kept it zipped inside the pocket of my riding jacket with just the charging cable running from it to my camera. When I started, my camera battery was at 86% and after recording for about an hour, the camera charge was still sitting at 86% while the battery pack was sitting at about 95%. That’s plenty good enough for my purposes. In my opinion, this is well worth the price. They do sell USB-A to USB-C adapters which would probably work to connect a USB-C to one of the power output connectors, but I didn’t try that myself.

POWER BANK model HX200K1 Capacity 38800mAh

[Update] power bank now takes 11 hours to charge from 0 to 100%, takes about 3.2 hours to charge my phone, and only charged my phone (one device) up to 3.1 times. I also tried charging my tablet and it took almost 4.5 hours to charge and it took 44% from the power bank. It has only gotten worse. Customer service is aware and could care less once is past the return window.

[Initial Review] I had bought this power bank to power up multiple devices and keep them charged on the go when needed, however in my particular case I only charged one phone (samsung S8+ with a healthy 3500mah battery). I won't list information that has already been mentioned on the product description, instead I'll just review the product as detailed as possible from my first initial notes and observations, which unfortunately only got worse from there on:

Product arrived with a precharged 32% battery. I used the provided charger and plugged into the ac outlet at 10:43am. By 4:46pm it was at 94% charged and by 5:44pm it was fully charged. It took exactly 7hrs 1 minute to fully charge. Although it took a very long time to charge, that's the least of my worries as I'd plan to charge it overnight. The next day I intentionally let my phone discharge to 0% and had the power bank fully charged at 100%. At 10:24pm I started charging it .At 10:54pm phone was at 22% and power bank at 91%. At 12:29am , the phone was fully charged and the power bank was at 79%. Next day 9:30pm, phone 0%, powerbank 79%. The phone was fully charged by 11:58pm and the power bank was at 58%. Next day at 7:40pm, the phone 0% powerbank 58%, phone was fully charged by 10:28pm , powerbank 32%. Next day 5:30pm, phone 0% powerbank 32%. Phone was fully charged by 7:58pm, powerbank 9%. Next day 12:32pm, phone 0% powerbank 8%, by 1:20 phone charged to 16% power bank 0%. I repeated the same technique throughout the next few days and it only got worse. It takes longer to charge phone and power bank. It also struggles to fully charge my phone at least 4 times. So I will not write down the details as I gave up wasting my time writing all the disappointing observations. At 15.1oz, it’s relatively heavy. Considering its size and cost, you expected better performance. I have two small 8000mah power banks that put in the same work or better, weigh less, and cost less. I intended to use this power bank on long trips with my girls, but after seeing it not keeping up with my small 3500mah samsung s8+, I will be returning. Very disappointed, I feel that 38800mah on this product's capacity is very deceiving. If you have a phone, tablet, or any device with a battery capacity of 3,200mAh or more it’s best to look elsewhere. Unfortunately, the HX200K1 didn’t meet expectations. Despite its capacity, it struggled to maintain consistent charging levels for my phone.With its 38,800mAh capacity, you’d expect it to charge multiple devices efficiently or at the very least, one device.

This portable charger has quickly become one of the most useful accessories I own. I travel frequently and spend a lot of time away from outlets, so having a high-capacity power bank gives me peace of mind. It easily keeps my phone, earbuds, and other small devices powered throughout the day without constantly worrying about battery life.

One of the biggest advantages is the multiple output ports, which allow me to charge more than one device at the same time. The USB-C PD fast charging works great with my newer devices and noticeably reduces charging time compared to older power banks I’ve used. This power bank is fantastic. It smaller and lighter than I expected. It can charge my phone and iPad for multiple times and still have plenty of battery left.
