ICYMI: Summer Events Community Meeting – April 30, 2026

The City of Virginia Beach led a community meeting to offer information, impacts and tools to help residents and visitors enjoy the 2026 Oceanfront Event Season, which includes major events attracting 10,000 people per day. Presented before a sub-committee of the Resort Advisory Commission and widely promoted to invite the general public, the meeting covered several events for the first half of the season, including Memorial Day Weekend - Salute to Summer, Jackalope Fest, Fourth of July Stars & Stripes Celebration, and more. In case you missed it, the meeting was recorded for those unable to attend.

Good Vibes Only

Welcome to Virginia Beach. We are a place where families gather, locals thrive and memories are made.

We welcome kindness. We embrace joy. We keep the vibe positive. This isn’t a party town. It’s not the place for chaos, harm, or bad energy.

If you’re here to disrupt, this isn’t your scene. But if you’re here for real fun, real memories and real good vibes — welcome to our great city. Beach rules and regulations are available at VirginiaBeach.gov/BeachRules
